The authority of Chittagong University has approved its annual budget of Tk 168.50 million for the 2013-14 fiscal years on CU University 26th annual Senate meeting on Friday at university conference room.
The CU authority also declared the revised budget for 2013-14 fiscal year worth of Tk. 154.60 million.
The meeting was chaired by Vice-Chancellor Prof Md Anwarul Azim Arif while others member of Senate were present the meeting was held at administration building auditorium.
At the meeting, acting controller of accounts of CU Faridul Alam Chowdhury declared the budget at A R Mullick building in the presence of the different media. Pro-VC Professor Dr Ifthekhar Uddin Chouwdhury was also present and delivered at the meeting
As before highest allocation in the next year’s budget was kept for salaries and allowances of the teachers, officers and employees of the CU. There is no allocation in research.
