Chittagong Central Eid Jamaat Committee( CFJC) will hold main Eid congregation at MA Aziz Stadium adjoing green field at 9 am as decided at a meeting held at circuit house auditorium recently with Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Md. Mesbahuddin in the chair.
Divisional Commissioner of Chittagong Md.Abdullah also attended the Eid jamaat committee meeting as chief guest. Secretary General of CCEJC Principal Dr. Karim conducted the meeting and presented last year’s income expenditure statement before the meeting .
The meeting unanimously decided to hold the main Eid congregration at Stadium premises , incase of rain or natural calamity, the Eid Jamaat will be held at Stadium Gymnisium hall . Besides, CCEJC has completed preparations to hold a total of 93 Eid congregations at different mosques and Eigaons in the city while CCC completed 14 congregations structure on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr at traditional and temporary venues including its 41 Ward under the supervision of respective ward Councillor.
Meanwhile, Chittagong Central Eid Jamaat Committee (CCEJC) have chalked out elaborate programmes to celebrate the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the largest religious festival for the Muslims, in the city with due fervor, joy and enthusiasm.
A three-tier security measures has been adopted in Port city and its adjacent area centering the Eid-ul-Fitr, largest religious festival of the Muslims, to make the celebration a total success. Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) has also set up 56 Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras at different strategic points to monitor the security measures arranged for city dwellers.
According to the sources of CMP and district Police, the additional security measures will exist from the previous day of Eid and till next three days.
They have been completed all kinds of preparations in the port city under the auspices of Chittagong district administration, Metropolitan Police, and other religious organizations for peaceful celebration of the Eid-ul-Fitr with due solemnity and feelings.
