City Mayor AJM Nasiruddin said city corporation is working cordially under the purview of its limitations aimed at fulfilling the demands of the city dwellers. He said corporation is trying to level best for meeting the demands and hopes of the city dwellers with its capacity and possibilities within the jurisdictions of law.
He disclosed it while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed multistoried Bhaban of Dr. Zakir Hossain City corporation Homoeopathic Medical College at Feringhee Bazaar in the city rec ently as chief guest. The chief on the occasion said CCC has undertaken a number of development projects which are already approved by the concerned authorities and hoped after implementations of these projects, the port city will be turned into a safe and livable best modern city of the country.
He said Chattogram is a commercial capital and second largest city of Bangladesh and we are working to develop this city with that angle .
City Mayor urges the city dwellers to extend cooperation to CCC on their ongoing development project irrespective of caste and creed. City mayor also mentioned that CCC was deprieved of any development funds from govt earlier but after assigning the state power by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina , the development works of the CCC intensified to the maxium extents. City Mayor further said the newly constructed building will be turned into a 10 storied building in phases. He also asked the principal and teachers of the college to introduce outdoor department with the aims of a full-fledged hospital .
He also directed the principal for introduction of Homoeo Degree course (BHMS) in a short possible time. Registrar of Bangladesh Homooeopathic Board Dr. Jahangir Alam was the principal speaker in it duly presided by the principal of the college Dr. Nurul Amin. Feringhee Bazar ward councilor Hasan Murad Biplob, women councilor Luftunesa Dobash, Chief Medical officer of CCC Dr. Selim Akhter Chowdhury, former BHB govt representative & managing committee member of ZHCCHMC , chief editor of Homoeo Chetona Principal Dr. Abdul Karim , Maksud Ahmed Sardar, Dr. Khurshid Jahan , Dr. Atahar Ali, Dr. Md. Kayeem uddin, Dr. Saleh Ahmed Solaiman, Adv Dr. Md. Samiuddin were present on the occasion as special guests.
