The case filed against former (sacked) Rab-7 commanding officer and six others for their alleged involvement in looting money of a shrine at Anwara upazila in Chittagong in 2011 is now ready for trial, said court sources.
All the files regarding the case was submitted before the court of Senior Judicial Magistrate Shahidullah Kaisar on Sunday, who fixed November 29 for the next hearing, informed court inspector Moshiur Rahman.
Arrest warrants have been issued against two of the accused — the two former RAB informers — since they were not present at the court, said court sources.
