Chittagong Bureau :
Two people, including a schoolboy, were killed in separate road crashes in the district on Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Ayman Faysal, 14, a student of class IX, son of Haji Abdus Sabur from Uttar Kattoli area and M Shah Alam, 40, a shop owner from Lohagara Thana.
Sub-Inspector of Akbar Shah Thana M Asaduzzaman told that a lorry rammed Faysal near Badamtal area of Uttar Kattoli around 2.00pm, leaving him dead on the spot.
Besides, a head-on collision between microbus and motorcycle near Adhuna Nagar area under Lohagara Thana around 9.00am, leaving motorcyclist Shah Alam injured. He, later, died on the spot.
Sub-Inspector of Lohagora Thana Faruque Islam confirmed the matter to New Nation. The bodies were sent to CMCH morgue for autopsy.
