Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) A J M Nasir Uddin said Chittagong is ready to arrange the second test between Bangladesh and Australia in the port city from September 4 next.
Addressing a press conference at the CCC hall on Tuesday morning, BCB Vice-president Nasir Uddin said the law enforcing agencies have arranged six layers of security measures at the Jahur Ahamod Chowdhury stadium area as well as Chittagong City for holding the second test between Bangladesh and Australia here in the port city.
He also said that one helicopter will be standby at the area and the paramilitary team will also be deployed during the test match between Bangla-desh and Australia in the port city.
