The officials, employees and workers of the Chittagong Port authority will get incentive bonus amounting to Tk.35 thousand each for successful handling of 20 lakh TEUs containers during 2015.Concerned ministry has taken decision of paying the initiative bonus to the officials, and employees , a CPA sources said. Sources said this incentives will be given to the officials, workers those were in service from January to December, 2015.
This bonus will be applicable for workers and officers upto level of Deputy Secretary . The payment of incentive bonus will be incurred from port’s own fund and govt will not bear the expenses. Deputy secretary of the Finance ministry Md. Saifullah signed the letter in connection which was received by CPA on Thursday. Mentionable that CPA paid Tk.25 thousand each to the officials and workers as incentive bonus on the occasion of 125th founding anniversary of the port, sources said.
Shipping Minister recently declared this incentive bonus at the 129th founding anniversary function held at port auditorium recently.
