Mobile court of Chittagong Port Authority recovered about 2 acres of port’s owned land from the illegal occupation from port area on Thursday .
Mobile court of CPA led by Executive Magistrate Abul Hashem conducted mobile court from 10 am to 2 pm at Taltala area under Bandar thana where evicted two truck terminals and 4 illegal installations. Besides, the mobile court conducted raid at Bandar East colony where evicted 20 kutcha, semi-pucca installations and two club office.
Sources said these club houses were used as den of wine, ganja and phensidyl addicts and the members of the clubs are involved with these unsocial activities. And there are also a number of allegations from the locals that school going girls are also eve teased by from the club office .
The mobile court accompanied by Bandar thana police and CPA ansar forces in presence of Deputy Manager(Real Estate)and other senior officials of port. CPA sources said similar mobile court will be conducted frequently to free the port owned land from illegal grabbing.
