Managing Director of Saif Powertech Ltd, the top terminal operator of Chattogram Port Tarafdar Md. Ruhul Amin said that if Chattogram port survives, Bangladesh will survive. He said that the position of Chattogram Port in the world rankings, which was close to the 100th position a few years ago, has now advanced to 57th position.
Saif Powertech Limited has been working as the terminal handling operator of Port since 2006.
At present Saif Powertech Limited is handling more than 80 percent of the containers in chattogram Port. In this case, the importance of Chattogram port is increasing day by day due to the joint efforts of all concerned including journalists.
He made the remarks at a views exchange meeting with journalists organized by the Chattogram Press Club on Monday .
