Ctg police constable dies

The traffic police constable of Chattogram Metropolitan Police who had Covid-19 symptoms and died at Chattogram General Hospital early on Friday was infected with the virus, test confirmed.
Samples of Naimul Haque (38) was collected after his death and the result confirmed he was Covid-19
 positive, according to a press release of Police Headquarters.
“He was performing his duty with dedication to keep people safe and was infected somehow,” Sohel Rana, assistant Inspector General (media) of Police Headquarters, said this evening.
Naimul was admitted to the hospital on Thursday night after he reported breathing problems along with some other physical illness. He died early Friday.
His wife and three children have been kept in home quarantine after his death.
With Naimul, eight police personnel so far died with Covid-19 infections.
Earlier, Constable Jalal Uddin Khoka, Assistant Sub-inspector (ASI) Raghunath Roy, Sub-inspector (SI) Sultanul Arefin, SI Nazir Uddin, ASI Abdul Khaleq, Constable Asheq Mahmud and Jasim Uddin died after being detected with coronavirus.
