Police arrested a person along with eight gold bars, weighing about 1.328kg, in Moijjartek area under Patiya upazila of Chittagong on Frirday.
The arrestee was identified as Rajib Dhar, 30, of Chakaria upazila of Cox’s Bazar. On information, police arrested Rajib along with the gold bars, said Sub-inspector Kafil Uddin of Karnaphuli Police station.
