Bangladesh Biman’s direct flight to Madina city from Chattogram was inaugurated at Shah Amanat International Airport on Thursday.
State Minister for Civil Aviation & Tourism Mohammad Mahbub Ali inaugurated service as chief guest. Speaking at the inaugural function Mahbub Ali said government is working relentlessly to increase the Biman’s fleet by procuring more than one hundred aircrafts. In phases very shortly.
He warns against any sorts of irregularity and corruptions in the civil aviation department and none will be spared if found to be involved in any sorts of irregularities and corruptions.
The state minister also said the people of Chattogram are very pious, they have been going to go Makkah; Madina frequently for offering Ziarat, Omra Hajj and the direct flight to Madina will help to facilitate the devotees of greater chattogram.
One flight on every Thursday will fly from Shah Amanat International Airport sources said.
