The Chattogram court ordered a lawyer named Anisul Islam (32) to jail custody in the murder case of Chandgaon Police Station in the city on Monday (December 20th), Chittagong Metropolitan Magistrate Sarwar Jahan gave the order in the court.
Anisul Islam is a member of the Chittagong District Lawyers Association. He is the son of late Sirajul Islam of Ward 4 of the Northern Jaldi Municipality of Banskhali Police Station. The thana sources said that Mahmuda Khanam was beaten to demand dowry at the third floor of the Masuda Khatun Building under Chandgaon Police Station in the port city.
