Chittagong Bureau :Chittagong Union of Journalists(CUJ) placed demand for announcement of 9th wage board for the journalists in the meeting on May Day at Press club premises on Sunday . The speakers in the rally told that despite passing of 45 years of independence , still the workers are neglected in all respects. At the same time journalists are also neglected beside the workers of all strata. The journo leaders demanded 9th wage board immediately President of CUJ Reaz Haider chowdhury presided the meeting duly conducted by General secretary Md. Ali. Among others, CUJ former secretary Hasan Ferdous, organizing secretary Sabur Suba , journalist Minhaj Raihan, SM Ibrahim, Babul Chowdhury spoke on the occasion. After termination of meeting, a rally paraded the city raods from press club premises, sources said.
