On behalf of the Chittagong Central Eid Jamaat committee led by its Secretary General Principal Dr Abdul Karim handover over a cheque to of Chittagong Md. Zillur Rahman Chowdhury at latter’s office chamber for relief assistances to the distressed and hapless people on Wednesday last.
Mentionable that DC is also the President of the central eid jamaat committee. This donation cheque was given to Govt relief fund through Deputy commissioner following the decision of the committee meeting held on August 27 last. Among others, Treasurer of the Eid Jamaat committee Dr. Saleh Ahmed Suleman, life member Principal Dr Nurul Amin, asstt. General Ashrafuzzaman Ashraf, and Dr Akhter Hossaain Bhutto were present during handing over the cheque, a committee sources said.
