Chittagong district senior election officer Ataur Rahman Khan died of corona virus. Chittagong Regional Election Officer Mohammad Hasanuzzaman confirmed the matter on Friday.
He told that he was admitted in a private hospital in the capital for the last few days due to corona infection. He was taken to ICU as his condition deteriorated. He died at around 2 am on Thursday. Md. Ataur Rahman was suffering from flu-caused disease since last March 23. Later in the corona test the sample came positive.
