The election of Chattogram District Bar Association has started from 9 am yesterday (February 10) in a festive atmosphere. Voting will continue till 4 pm. It is known that there are 40 candidates in the election. The pro-Awami League Combined Lawyers Coordinating Council and the pro-BNP Nationalist Lawyers Unity Council are electing in full panel. One is contesting from the General Lawyers Welfare Council. Advocate Abu Mohammad Hashem from the pro-Awami Sammilita Bar Coordinating Council for President, senior vice-president.
Sekandar Chowdhury, Vice President Ali Ashraf Chowdhury, Abul Hossain Mohammad Zia Uddin as General Secretary, Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun as Assistant Secretary, SM Ahidullah as Finance Secretary, Mohammad Nazrul Islam as Library Secretary, Mohammad Manjurul Azam as Culture and Sports Secretary Chowdhury and Information and Technology candidate Hadi.
