Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry has started selling of essential commodities with subsidized price on the occasion of coming holy Ramadan .
President of Chittagong chamber Md.Mahbubul Alam inaugurated the selling centre infront of Agrabad chamber house yesterday at about 12 noon.Sources said the selling activities of these commodities will continue upto 27th Ramadan from 1o am to 3 pm everyday.
One consumer is allowed to purchase one kg. sugar and 5 kgs rice at tk.40 and Tk.18 respectively.
On the other hand, Chittagong Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce also started fair price shop in front of chamber office in Agrabad from yesterday.
Among others , in the opening ceremony of Chittagong Chamber’s sale programme , Vice President Syed Jamal, Director Mahfuzul Hoque Shah, Azharul Islam Chowdhury , Wahid Siraj Chowdhury were present
