Ctg Board completes preparations to hold HSC exams today

Chittagong Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (CEB) have completed all preparations to hold the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations in a free, fair and peaceful manner from today(Sunday).
A total of 87,463 candidates including 43,512 males and 43,951 females will sit for the examination under CEB through the 97 centers from 204 colleges this year. A total of 14,789 students from science group, 33,013 students from humanities group and 39,662 from business administration are scheduled to participate in the examinations.
CEB officials said they have completed almost all kinds of preparations to hold the examinations in a free and fair manner. Over 50 vigilance teams consisting of teachers and magistrates have been formed to check any sort of unfair means or irregularities by visiting a total of 97 centers under the board.
Mahbub Hasan, Controller of Chittagong Education Board told BSS that the authority is determined to consider all possible options in the preparation process to keep the recent years’ trend of copying-free and peaceful examination.
