Chittagong city BNP unit has chalked out 3-days long programmes of the great Victory Day from December 14 .
This was disclosed by the city BNP unit at a preparatory meeting of the party at Nasimon Bhaban office on Thursday evening .
The programmes include discussion meeting on martyrs of liberation war on December 14, discussion meet on victory day and cultural function on Dec 15 and presentation of wreaths at shahid minar at midnight and the victory procession from party office premises on morning of Victory day.
The meeting was presided by BNP city vice president Abu Sufian .
Central Child Affairs Secretary Rosy Kabir was the chief guest in it. General secretary of city BNP Dr. Shahdat Hossain delivered speech as key speaker in it.
Key speaker in his deliberations reiterated the proclamation of Independence of Bangladesh by Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman from Kalurghat Radio Transmitting centre on March 26, 1971 and following the call of the former President Ziaur Rahman , the people irrespective of caste and creed participated the liberation war from respective angles .
