Chittagong Abahani Limited want to clinch JB Group Bangladesh Premier League (JBL) Football title.” Manager of Chittagong Abahani Limited Shakil Mahmud Chowdhury said to the reporters at a press conference held at the conference room of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) House on Saturday. He said, ” We earned a good result in the Independence Cup. But we couldn’t achieve a good result in the Federation Cup. If everything goes well we will be the champions in the upcoming JB Group BPL Football.’
Captain of Chittagong Abahani Limited Mamunul Islam Mamun said, ” We took a god preparation before Eid. We have made a good team. Our inaugural match is very important. We shall face Dhaka Abahani Limited in the opening match. We want to create history in this BPL.”
Media Manager of Bangladesh Football Federation Ahsan Ahmed Amit, Member of the Professional Football League Committee of BFF Zakir Hossain Chowdhury were present at the press conference. Apart from the representatives of Chittagong Abahani Limited, Coaches, Captains of three participating clubs of the ensuing BPL talked to the journalists.
Coach of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited Jashimuddin Joshi said, ” We couldn’t make a team to clinch the title of the BPL. But we shall try to attract the spectators by showing a good performance. We shall try to take place in top three.”
Captain of Dhaka Mohammedan Ismail Bangura said, ” We have some problems. So, we couldn’t do well in Independence Cup and Federation Cup. We take a good preparation for BPL.”
Coach of Feni Soccer Club Ladi Baba Lole said, ” We start our practice from today. I hope we shall get a good result.”
Captain of Feni Soccer Club Akbor Hossain Ridon said, ” We want to take place in top six. We have some lacking in practice. We shall try to overcome that in future.”
Coach of Team BJMC Saidul Islam said, ” We have a good preparation. I hope we shall get a good result.”
Captain of Team BJMC Arifuzzaman Himel said, ” We shall do something good. Our Coach has worked hard. We have four foreign recruits. They are good players.”
