Chittagong Abahani Ltd advanced to the 3rd slot in the JB Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football beating Soccer Club, Feni by 1-0 goal in the 8th round match at Sylhet District Stadium on Tuesday.
With the day’s feat, Soccer Club, Feni have secured 15 points from eight matches to reach the 3rd slot after league leader Sheikh Jamal DC (18 points) and Dhaka Abahani Ltd (16 pts). Soccer Club, Feni remained at the 6th place with nine points from eight matches.
Unmarked winger Jahid Hossain scored the match winner for Chittagong Abahani in the 66th minute by a rebounder when an attempt of his fellow Haitian striker Leonol Preux came his way (1-0).
