Chittagong Abahani Limited advanced to the 3rd slot in the 12-team Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football beating Team BJMC by 3-1 goals at Sylhet District Stadium here on Saturday.
With the day’s well-merited victory, star-studded Chittagong Abahani Ltd have secured 18 points from nine matches to clinch the 3rd slot after league leader Rahmatganj MFS and Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, which bagged 19 points each from nine league encounters.
The day’s match was locked in 1-1 goals during the first half.
Haitian booter Leonel Saint Preux struck twice and Mohammad Ibrahim netted the other goal for the winners while Jakir Hossan Ziku netted the lone goal for the losers.
