State Minister for ICT Affairs Zunaid Ahmed Palak on Saturday said the advancement of information and communication technology in Bangladesh is playing a crucial role to boost up the national development.
“The government has been implementing various initiatives to turn the country into a technologically developed one and thus build Sonar Bangla as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,” he told a fresher’s reception of Singra Damdama Pilot School and College in the district this afternoon.
Palak said the youths are the future leaders of the country and they would have to make themselves efficient in using advanced technology to take ahead the nation.
Chaired by College Principal Anwarul Islam Anu, the function was joined by Singra pourasava mayor Jannatul Ferdous, upazila Awami League president Advocate Wahidur Rahman Sheikh and UP chairman Minhaj Uddin, among others.
