Chittagong Reporters Unity (CRU) arranged a discussion meeting to celebrate the 44th Victory Day at its office on Wednesday. The members of CRU also paid homage to Liberation War martyrs at Central Shaeed Minar in Chittagong.
CRU President Kiron Sarma presided over the meeting . General Secretary Nazrul Islam , Organizing Secretary Riazur Rahman ,Research & Training Secretary Shaik Mohammed Arif, Asst. Publicity Secretary Azgor Ali Manik, Asst. Publication Secretary Rupan Nath, Executive Member Mohiuddin Mohammed Iqbal and kamal Hossain attended the discussion.
The speaker said that the independence was purchase at too great price at the cost of some three million people and the loss of the chastity of two lakh woman during the nine months of struggle with Pakistani forces.
