Criminals grab 4 fish enclosures of a family in Satkhira

Members of a criminal gang have allegedly grabbed and looted four fish enclosures of a family in Romzannagar union parishad of Shyamnagar upazila over the last week.
The male members of the victim family have fled their homes as they have allegedly been threatened of assault by the criminal gang locally knonw as ‘Humayun Bahini’.
Nasima Begum Hena, a member of the victim family and also a UP member, filed a GD with Shyamnagar Police Station on Friday last.
In her complaint, Nasima Begum alleged that the alleged criminals, led by gang leader Humayun, grabbed and looted the four fish enclosures – three in Manikkhali and one in Ramzannagar village of the union – on February 15,16 and 19.
Meanwhile, the victim family claimed the male members of the family have been implicated in a case filed by mother of Humayun under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act 2000.
