Cricket fever grips whole country

The entire people of Bangladesh are waiting with eagerness to enjoy the Bangladesh Cricket team’s winning moment. They hope that the Bangladesh team will defeat the Indian team again as they did in the 2007 Cricket World Cup. They are sure of Bangladesh team’s cruising into the World Cup Cricket semifinal.
This is for the first time Bangladesh are playing in the quarter finals of Cricket World Cup in Melbourne. For this, a festive atmosphere also prevails in many parts of the country ahead of the big event. Thursday has been declared holiday for students of most of the schools and kindergartens across the country so that they can enjoy the Bangladesh-India Quarter-final match. The roof of each building has been decorated with the pictures of tigers. National Flags have been hoisted atop many buildings. Colourful lightings are also seen in different buildings and institutions all over the country. The students of public and private universities have taken initiatives to watch the match. The students of Dhaka University will arrange special live telecast at TSC and each and every hall. “I am so much excited that the Bangladesh will play today in such a match as the winners will sail into the semifinal. We are proud. A festive occasion prevails every where,” Dhaka University student Shahin Abdullah said.
Kamal Uddin, head of a private school in the city, told The New Nation, “It is our great achievement that Bangladesh will play in the quarterfinal. I have declared holiday for my on Thursday so that the students and their guardians can witness the quarterfinal match comfortably.”  
Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique will watch the match. He is hopeful of triumph. He has also thanked Bangladesh team for their good performance.
On the other hand, the hot situation is seen on the Internet including Twitter, facebook, youtube and different websites. The Bangladeshi hackers have already hacked at least 1,200 websites of India. A hacking match was held between the two on internet, the Bangladeshi hackers have declared: Undefeated against India. Meanwhile, thousands of expatriates from all over the world have already flown to Melbourne. Many of the expatriates who could not collect tickets will stay outside the stadium till the last ball is bowled.They think that the Bangladesh team’s landing in the semifinal sends positive signals about the future of the country in the world of sports. The supporters of the Bangladesh are sure of their amazing victory and further march. Yet, both thrill and romance wave in the sports arena.
