The Cricket Australia on Monday announced a 15-member Test squad with two new faces in the side to play two Tests against Bangladesh in October.
Tasmania fast bowler Andrew Fekete and Western Australia opener Cameron Bancroft have been picked up in the squad.
The Australian team will depart for Bangladesh on September 28. Steve Smith will lead the visiting side as the first-ever full-time assignment for him as a captain. Adam Voges is the eldest member in the squad played only 7 Tests so far.
Cricket giant Australia will begin their campaign here with a three-day warm-up match against BCB XI at Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah on October 3-5, following a four-day training session at Bangladesh National Cricket Academy (BNCA) from September 29.
The visitors will play the first Test at Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong from October 9 to 13 before heading to Dhaka for the second Test at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur from October 17 to 21.
Australia tour to Bangladesh for only a Test series earlier was in 2006, when they played two Tests in Fatullah and Chittagong. They also came to play a three-match ODI series in 2011.
Bangladesh toured to Australia twice, in 2003 to play two Tests and three ODIs, and in 2008 for three ODIs.
Among their four Tests clashes Bangladesh never tasted any win, but one in ODI format, June 2005 at Cardiff, in their 19 occasions.
Bangladesh ranked ninth in the ICC Test rankings while Australia ranked second.
