Creative talent hunt competition to flourish latent talent : Minister

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said creative talent hunt competition has been playing an important role in flourishing latent talent of the students.
“Students of the remotest corners of the country are getting equal advantages of the competition. The students scattered over the country are participating in the contest,” he said this on Thursday while addressing the inaugural ceremony of national level ‘Creative Talent Hunt Competition-2017′ at Azimpur Government Girls’ School and College here.
Mentioning more than one lakh students participated in the contest at upazila and district level competitions, the minister said adding they (talent students) would make the nation forward with their talent and research works. Acting Secretary of Technical and Madrasah Division of the ministry Md Alamgir, Additional Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Division Choudhory Mufad Ahmad, Director General of Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) Professor Dr S M Wahiduzzaman and Member Secretary of Creative Talent Hunt Competition-2017 Dr Md Shafiqul Islam Talukder addressed the function, among others.
Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Division Md Sohrab Hossain chaired the programme. The minister said all meritorious students of the country will get equal opportunity by participating in the competition.
Nahid, however, said a special incentive would be given to those who will secure places in the merit list for continuation of their education smoothly.
