The President of the National Bar Association of Bangladesh, Advocate Shah Md Khasruzzaman, on Tuesday urged the Election Commission and the government to create a fair and peaceful JS election environment.

Advocate Shah Md Khasruzzaman on Tuesday sent the written statement on behalf of his organization, National Bar Association of Bangladesh, a federation of the lawyers’ associations of the country.
“Election Commission has taken a strong and practical approach by deploying the Armed Forces to make the election smooth and peaceful. In the past, the Armed Forces played a historic and glorious role in dealing with any crisis or disaster in the country. We hope, they will play the same role in the upcoming national election,” read the statement.
