The Chattogram district administration has launched a crackdown program against coronavirus infections in the port city yesterday. The drive, which began yesterday morning, led by four executive magistrates from the district administration. Two more magistrates joined in the drive in the afternoon.
The campaign jolted Chowkbazar, Reazuddin Bazar, Teri Bazar and Agrabad areas in the city.
Chattogram Additional District Magistrate Badiul Alam told the media that the district administration was conducting a city-wide campaign on Tuesday with the instructions of the Deputy commissioner to ensure that everyone awareness to prevent the transmission of corona virus.
He said hygiene awareness miking is being carried out at from entrances and Six important spots in the city with the help of City Corporation and Information Department. Masks are being distributed by the district administration.
