Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB), Kishoreganj District Unit arranged a public meeting at local Islamia Super Market in the town on Friday evening demanding punishment of those who where involved in illegal casino business, corruption and money lendaring.
CPB General Secretary Comrade Md. Shah Alam was attended as chief guest while CPB Kishoreganj District Unit President Comrade Syed Nazrul Islam in the chair.
It was addressed among othes by District Committee Secretary Comrade Advocate Enamul Hoque, Comrade Dr. Idris Ali, Comrade Abdur Rahman, Trade Union Leader Siraj Miah and Abul Hashem Master.
Later, a rally was brought out in the town led by CPB Secretary Md. Shah Alam.
