Chattogram Bureau :
Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chattogram on Monday arrested an official of Chattogram Port Autho-rity (CPA) on charges of graft. ACC officials in plain clothes detained Swandipon Chowdhury, deputy chief (finance and accounts), from his office around 1 pm and later on produced him before the court. Metropolitan Magistrate Ali Imran passed order to send him to jail.
On October 23, 2013 the ACC filed two cases against Swandipon Chowdhury on charges of purchasing four turbo chargers without inviting tender bid through newspaper declaration, port sources said.
