A man was killed as a heavy chunk of hill collapsed on him at Mohorkata village in Maheshkhali upazila on Tuesday.
Pardip Kumer Das, officer-in-charge of Maheshkhali Police Station, said Nurul Islam, 40, son of Abdus Sattar, died on the spot as the big chunk of mud fell on him in the morning.
