Vaccination program has been started in Sylhet to protect children between 5 to 11 years of age (primary students) from corona virus On Thursday.
Vaccination of children started at Sylhet City Corporation from 9 am and will continue till 3 pm.
Meanwhile, a press release of Sylhet City Corporation’s health department on August 23 said that a special campaign is being started from Thursday (August 25) for the donation of Covid-19 vaccine to the registered students of all educational institutions in Sylhet City Corporation area.
In the notification, Sylhet City Corporation will provide vaccination to the registered children through the authority of their respective educational institutions. Students must bring vaccination registration card with them to receive vaccination in designated educational institutions.
25 August Sylhet city corporation area has started a special vaccination campaign for children like the rest of the country since date. In this campaign, all child students between 5 to 12 years will be vaccinated against Covid-19. In addition to the community and students, other children will be vaccinated against Covid-19 under the guidance of the government.
