The lowest number of corona infections has been identified in Chattogram in terms of number and rate. In the last 24 hours, 21 people tested positive for the virus. The infection rate is 1.61 per cent. No patient died of Corona during the period.
According to the report of the Civil Surgeon’s Office, samples of 1,224 people in Chattogram and five in the city’s Cox’s Bazar Medical College Lab were tested on Saturday and 21 new positives were identified. Of these, 20 are residents of the city and one is from Fatikchhari.
The total number of people identified as corona infected in the district is now 33,444. Of these, 26,124 are from urban areas and 6,320 from rural areas.
No patient died in Corona yesterday. As a result, the death toll is 369 people. There are 26 residents in the city and 101 in the village.
36 new people have received health clearance. As a result, the total number of beneficiaries has increased to 31,050. Of these, 4,260 people were treated in the hospital and 26,060 at home. Five people are newly added in home quarantine or isolation and 10 people got clearance. At present there are 1,022 people in quarantine.
It is to be noted that this is the lowest detection record in number and rate after the commencement of full testing of Corona in Chattogram .
