A court in chittagong issued show cause notice to Officer Incharge of Pahartali thana Ranjit Kumar Barua and Sub Inspector Absaruddin for submitting fabricated inquiry report against an accused .
Joint session judge of Chittagong court Bilkis Akhtar in the show casuse notice asked them to appear before the court physically on October 20 next. APP of the court Advocate Tuhin Ganguli confirmed the matter to this correspondent .
Court sources said in a case of extortions, 12 accused in extortion case and summons issued to plaintiff and witness of the case on June 28 last. But the concerned police officials submitted report to court on August 28 saying the plaintiff Mahbur Rahman and witness are not traced in the locality .
After submitting of police report before the court, plaintiff appeared before the court and instantly court rejects the police report and asked them to appear before the court physically on October 20 next.
