Interim Head Coach of Bangladesh National Cricket team Courtney Walsh went to Kolkata, the capital city of West Bengal, India on Tuesday last. There he participated in Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi Memorial Lecture.
The Daily Telegraph and The Bengal Club have been arranging the Mansur Ali Khan Memorial Lecture since 2012.Earlier, Imran Khan, Greg Chappell, Kapil Dev, Sourav Ganguly took part in the Mansur Ali Khan Memorial Lecture as guest lecturers.
Mansur Ali Khan led Indian National Cricket team for 40 Test matches. Of them, India won 12 Test matches against their opponents. Walsh was the first Caribbean, who delivered the Mansur Ali Khan Memorial Lecture. – Sports Reporter
Walsh played four or five ODI matches at the Eden Garden in Kolkata. So, Walsh had a sweet memory for this city.
Walsh will return to Dhaka today (Thursday) or tomorrow (Friday) and then join Bangladesh Cricket team.
