Court rejects BNP’s plea to sue 20 people over Mirpur clash

The court rejected the plea of filing cases against four to five hundred unidentified persons including Jubo League General Secretary Mainul Hossain Khan in connection with the attack on the leaders and workers of Dhaka North BNP in Mirpur area of the capital.
Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) of Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court ordered to dismiss this application filed in the court of Tofazzal Hossain.
Lawyer BNP leader Masud Ahmed Talukdar confirmed this information to the media.
Earlier, BNP leader lawyer Omar Faroque had requested to take a case against four to five hundred unknown persons, mentioning the names of 20 people in the attack on BNP leaders and workers in Mirpur area.
Lawyer Omar Faroque submitted this application in the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Tofazzal Hossain of Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court.
In the case, it was said that on September 15, BNP leaders and workers were attacked with sharp weapons in the gathering of Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP in Pallabi, Mirpur.
 BNP’s Jasim, Roni and many others were seriously injured in the attacked.
