Members of Narcotics Control Department arrested a couple along with 3,000 pieces of Yaba tablets from Farhadpur village in Godagari upazila recently.
The arrestees were identified as Sanarul alias Sanu, 45, son of Raju Lala, and his wife Rumi Akhter, 40.
Tipped off, a team of Narcotics Control Department raided the house of Sanu and recovered the 15 packets of Yaba pills and Tk 45,000 in cash, said Altaf Hossain, officer-in-charge of Godagari Model police Station.
