A nine-member executive committee of Comilla University Press Club (CoUPC) has been announced with Sazzad Bashar of Ajker Patrika as the president and Safayet Sifat of The New Nation as the general secretary.
Due to COVID-19 situation, the committee has been announced on Sunday at 9pm in a virtual meeting instead of in-person arrangement, in presence of present and former members.
The newly formed committee has Tanvir Ahmed Russel of Asian Age as vice-president, while Redwanul Islam of Somoy TV (intern) as joint-secretary, Mahmudul Hasan of Bangla Vision as treasurer, Ikbal Hasan of Daily Sokaler Somoy as office secretary, Rakib Hasan of Dhaka Times as inormation and library secretary. Katib Hasan Murad of Daily Bhorer Darpan and Subarna Mustafa of Bhorer Dak are in the committee as executive members.
