Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan said the cricket lovers of the country will not see him making mistakes in the upcoming days. The prolific all-rounder is now staying in the United States of America with his wife and two daughters. A local online informed this matter that they got it through a video interview of Shakib Al Hasan.
Shakib was banned for two years by the ICC, with one year is suspended, due to failing to report to the officials of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) several corrupt approaches made to him. The banned of the prolific all-rounder will be come to an end in October this year and Shakib will again in action.
The players of Bangladesh National Cricket team were in coaching camp under supervision of Head Coach of Bangladesh team Russell Domingo marking the ICC World Cup 2019, while Shakib Al Hasan was busy in India to take part in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The cricket critics criticised and condemned Shakib Al Hasan for his activities but when Shakib Al Hasan showed a consistent and gimmick performance in the ICC World Cup 2019 in England and Wales, the cricket critics became spellbound after watching Shakib’s all-round performance. Shakib Al Hasan scored 606 runs and picked up 11 wickets in his ICC World Cup 2019 campaign.
A local website informed that when Shakib’s ban will be concluded, he will be prepared himself to take part in the cricket competitions.
The website also reported that Shakib Al Hasan will take an intensive coaching under his Mentor Md Salahuddin if the coronavirus-situation becomes under control and if BKSP gives permission to do that.
UNB adds: “Nobody is 100% perfect. Whatever happened has happened. The important thing is to make a good comeback from those mistakes. You can help people advising them not to make those mistakes in their lives,” Shakib said.
“I bound to make mistakes because I got the biggest responsibility in the very early time of my career. I was appointed as the Captain of the Bangladesh National Cricket team when I was only 21. And at the same time, people were used to thinking a lot of things about me. Coming to this stage of my life, I realize that I made a lot of mistakes, and I was misunderstood as well,” Shakib added.
