Describing the landslide win of the Awami League (AL) led grand alliance as a victory of the people, Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Khandker Mosharraf Hossain said the people of the country have given their mandate in favour of the development.
“The huge win of the AL in the 11th parliamentary election is a victory of the people. The people of the country have given their verdict for the huge development carried out by the AL government,” he said this on Wednesday at his Hare Road residence in a greeting ceremony of the LGRD Ministry officials and employees for wining from Faridpur-3 constituency with a huge margin.”The new government will work for implementation of the pledges of building Bangladesh as a developed country,” he added. “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has developed Bangladesh a lot in line with the dream of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,” he continued.
“The Bangladesh would be a happy and prosperous country following the development in education, health and infrastructural sectors carried out by the Awami League government in the last 10 years,” he said. “I am hugely pleased with your (LGRD ministry officials and employees) reception. You have to discharge your duties taking the interest of the people.
There is a lot of work to do in the upcoming days. We would have to work together for building the ‘Sonar Bangla’ dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,” the minister said.
