University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Prof. Abdul Mannan said the country yet to be achieved qualitative standard education from school to university level as a result Bangladesh is leg behind in global competition of manpower development.
He was addressing a reception accorded to him arranged by the Port City International University of Chittagong yesterday afternoon at university premises .
Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. Nurul Anowar presided over the reception function .
Among others vice chancellor o f Chittagong University Anowarul Azim Arif, CUET Vice Vhancellor Prof. Jahangir Alam , founder chairman of the Port City International University Jahir Ahmed Ratan and the founder President AKM Enamul Hoque Shamim spoke on the occasion.
