There is no fear of any cold wave in the country, but the days are becoming warmer as spring makes its presence known following a chilling winter, according to Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
Rain and thundershowers are likely to take place in some places in next three days, BMD officials said on Saturday.
Kh. Hafizur Rahman, meterologist of BMD told The New Nation on Saturday that the mercury may rise by 1-2°C in the days to come.
He further said several areas may see rain or thundershowers in the next 72 hours.
Light fog may occur at some places over river basins during the early morning, the weather buletin read.
The lowest temperature in the country on Saturday was recorded at 9.7°C in Sreemangal of Moulvibazar.
