Bangladesh’s COVID-19 deaths tally reached 7,756 on Saturday as 22 more fatalities were reported in last 24 hours.
At the same time, positive cases across the country stood at 5,21,382 after detecting 692 new cases.
Of the dead, 15 were male while seven were female.
The Health authorities also informed 785 more recoveries in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 4,66,064.
During this period, as many as 12,908 samples were tested at 181 authorised labs across the country.
Bangladesh reported its first coronavirus case on March 8 and the first death on March 18.
