Chairman of the Parliamentary standing committee on Ministry of Railway ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP said people of this country achieved independence through unprecedented leadership of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina turned the country into a happy and prosperous Bangladesh through her dynamic efforts in all respects.
He disclosed it while addressing the B ijoy Mela reminiscence meeting at Raozan Govt College ground on Friday last as Chief Guest. Leader of the Bangabandhu Sangskritic Jote, central committee and noted film actor Akber Hossain Faruk was the principal speaker in the reminiscence .Convener of the Bijoy Mela Parishad and Raozan upazila AL Kamaluddin Ahmed presided the reminiscence duly conducted by Member secretary and panel Mayor Jamiruddin Parvez . Advisor of world Bank Prof Shah Alam Chowdhury, President of Mohila AL Dilowara Yousuf, Asstt. Commissioner of Land , Raozan Junaid Kabir Sohag, panel mayor Bashiruddin Khan. OC Raozan, Kepayetullah, Abu Musa Chowdhury, Aminul Hoque Babu attended the memorial meeting as special guests. Among others, Principal of Raozan govt college Selim Newaz Chowdhury, Anowarul Islam , Nurul Islam Chowdhury, Shahjahan, Jasimuddin chy, Saiful Islam Rana, Yasinchowdhury, Shamal Palit, Syed Hossain company, FF Safiqul Islam chairman, Syed Abdul Jabbar Sohel chairman, Ahsan Habib Chowdhury, councilor Jane Alam Jony, Abu Salek, Adv Samir Das etc were present on the occasion. The chief guest in his deliberations said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina achieved worldwide reputations of Bangladesh with dignified positions in all respects. He said Bangabandhu means Bangladesh and Sheikh Hasina is the identity of prospective Bangladesh. He said for the last two decades, I am working relentlessly for the progress and peace aimed at turning the Raozan upazila as model upazila of the country. He urged the people of Raozan to evaluate the performances during last two decades than the previous periods of BNP regime.
He said now time came to justify the development activities during my tenure. While explaining the descriptions of development statistics of thousand crores of taka in Raozan said it became possible due to Sheikh Hasina headed government. He reiterated for unity among the pro-liberation forces in favour of the present government so as to return to state power in next term Special guest and noted film actor Faruk Hossain urged the people of Raozan to elect the dynamic leader ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury in next term for sake of sustaining development activities of Raozan , our Raozan correspondent Mir Aslam said.
