The Comilla University (CoU) authorities relieved one of its teachers from a department’s Head following an allegation of harassing a female student.
On January15, a female student of Evening Course of the Department of English lodged a complain to the university Registrar where she alleged that Associate Proffessor Mohammad Ali Rizwan Talukder had harassed her sexually and mentally and deleted some important files from her phone which would had been submitted as documents against him.
Following the complaint, a six member probe body was formed to investigate the allegation, but no report is yet to submit.
