The Comilla University (CoU) students staged a demonstration demanding justice for the attacks of their fellow Mohammed Robel. Over two hundred students of the university’s Department of Mass Communication and Journalism formed a human-chain on Sunday to press home their demand.
Speakers at the protest said, they will continue their demonstration until justice is done.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Robel, a 2nd year student of CoU was beaten up in front of the Academic Building of the university by another student following a miniature altercation on January 13. He was admitted to Comilla Medical College.
A complain letter was submitted to the university authorities on January 14. Authorities immediately formed a three member investigation committee over the incident. But students held demonstration as no advancement has yet been appeared.
