Comilla University authority on Monday has formed a three-members probe-committe to investigate into the untoward incident locked between the two factions of BCL during the admission test held on the Friday, confirmed Md Mujibur Rahman Majumder, Registrar of the University.
The three-member probe committee headed by Dr Bishajit Chandra Dev, Chairman of Accounting and Information System Department and composed with Ainul Haque, and Hasan Hafizur Rahman, the Proctor and Assistant proctor of CoU.
Earlier on Friday, a factional clash locked between the outsiders backed by CoU BCL president Najmul Hasn Alif and the university unit BCL backed by the general secretary Reza-E-Elahi, leaves at least 15 injured including a Hall Provost and an Assistant Proctor.
Following the incident, agitated activists of Bangladesh Chattra League (BCL) unit of Comilla University (CoU) staged a demonstration at the university premises and called an indefinite strike from Sunday claiming the punishment for the clash.
